Habe neues iPad mit 128 GB.
Zuvor hatte ich eine kleiner DB auf früherem iPad mit der DB auf iMac gesynct.
Das hatte in der Vergangenheit funktioniert.
Nun geht es nicht mehr.
Was muss ich am iMac/ iPad genau einstellen?
Am iMac sehe ich das im screenshot.
Auf iMac habe ich zwei DB.
a) 8,6 GB
b) 171 MB
Am iMac sehe ich auch unter user > Dropbox die Datei DEVONthink Packet Sync.
Kann mir jemand bitte helfen

I would look to the settings in Sync.
I can’t open the preferences.
It is greyed out see screenshot.
Why is it so?

Sie haben keine Sync-Speicherorte aktiviert; nur Bonjour ist aktiviert. So konnte das iPad mit dem Mac verbunden und synchronisiert werden. Überprüfen Sie DEVONthink To Go’s Einstellungen > Sync: Standorte.
Außerdem können Sie keine Datenbanken synchronisieren, die nicht aktiv irgendwo synchronisiert werden. Da Sie keine aktiven Synchronisierungsorte auf dem Mac haben, ist dieser Menübefehl deaktiviert.

Is syncing via Bonjour independent of the other locations in the left list?

You’re welcome.
Enabling Bonjour turns the Mac into a server for the databases it has open in DEVONthink. Other Macs or iOS devices running DEVONthink To Go can connect to it and import or sync databases with it.
OK. I understand I must not activate the five other locations in the left list.
Later I go to my iPad Air 3 with DTTG and see what are the settings.
I post this and hope the solution is easy with Your support

You need to touch the Bearbeiten link and connect to the Mac. You will be prompted to enter the Bonjour password you specified in DEVONthink on the Mac. Then touch the connected sync location and import or sync databases with the Mac.
OK, I have done it and connect with internal network and see this, like screenshot.
Does I see on iPad or iMac a sync icon like progress bar?

Press Fertig as you shouldn’t be in Edit mode now. Then touch the sync location to see the databases list. You will enable databases there, as needed.
I have done it and see in DTTG four databases. In the Database Reisen I ee the number 2, see Screenshot.
I have store before two websites in my DTTG.
