The Hit List - Reminder Script not working?

Just installed “The Hit List” (I found an old valid licence, trying to be little bit more flexible than Apple Reminders). First test on an item leads to

Is the The Hit List installed on your computer and is DEVONthink allowed to automate it?

According to System Preferences, no - how to enable this?

Which version of macOS do you use and where is The Hit List installed? Usually the system should ask you automatically but if you deny the request, then it’s unfortunately not added to system preferences and can’t be changed anymore afterwards.

Applications Folder on 10.15.5

Now this is strange: I ran the script inside the script editor, and it worked …

… but it doesn’t work from the script menu itself - any suggestions?

Is there an entry for Script Editor to automate The Hit List in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Automation?

In the Automation Tab, “The Hit List” is listed neither listed under “Script Menu” nor “DEVONthink 3"

Try this…

  1. Open the script in Script Editor again.
  2. Comment out the try… end try lines shown here and save the file.
  3. Run the script inside DEVONthink and see if you get this prompt. Allow it, if you do.
  4. Uncomment the lines in Script Editor and save.
  5. Try the script in DEVONthink again.

Thanks for going the extra mile with me!

Yes, allowed the access, and now “The Hit List” is marked in Preferences > … > Automation > DEVONThink 3

Same error message as before …
