That is precisely my point. I went back to ver 3 (before deleting it), took a screenshot of all my settings which solved most of my upgrade issues (font size, etc). I was suggesting that this be part of the upgrade instructions. In addition, I spent hours trying to understand why I could not drag and drop smart groups into groups in the sidebar, only to rediscover that the sidebar sort settings had been reset by the upgrade to sort “by kind”, hence the impossibility of mixing them.
Had I known in advance that those settings would be changed, I would not have wasted so much time,
I have been using DT for years and have no idea what the advantage would be to use the global inbox for temporary use only. Could you give me some examples ? My point about replicants is that you cannot (as far as I understand) create replicants between databases. For me replicants are essential, so I would be limited to one database only anyways.
Would you know where I can find a description of all the changes between3 and 4 ?
