I would like to use DT to organize code snippets and libraries that I have scattered in a few locations. I don’t want to rename the files to “.txt”, but I would like to be able to read them without opening up an external program.
How do I get DT to recognize them as simple text files?
What is the actual file extension?
the extension is “.livescodescript”
I’m adding a number of github repos to my database, so changing the file name is not an option.
I don’t care about being able to search them, I just want to be able to read.
In DEVONthink Pro or Pro Office Help > DEVONthink Pro (Office) Help > Documentation > Appendix > Hidden Preferences, follow the instructions to add plain text types.

I noticed it works for newly added files, but files already in the database are still unreadable
