Unable to activate Server after install on new Mac

I installed DT4 on a new 2024 M4 mini. My databases that are stored on an external drive open and function as expected. Bonjour is set to enable incoming connections in the sync tab. In the server tab, the users (Mark and guest and DEVONagent) are given all privileges. The configuration is the same as on the previous mini that I just migrated from. Now, however, when I click START to launch the server, nothing happens. The button responds to the mouse when I click, but nothing happens. Claude has not offered useful troubleshooting.

Which ports did you use?

Bonjour in the Sync settings has nothing to do with the Server settings.

Now, however, when I click START to launch the server, nothing happens.

What do you expect to happen? Do you see the server links at the bottom of the Settings?

And did you read the In & Out > Web sharing section of the built-in Help and manual?

I had missed the TLS certificate step and was expecting DT4 to automatically set the port. That gets the START button in the server tab working.

Next glitch. I have five databases. Four of them Bonjour sync with Mini as server with Macbook client. One will not initiate a sync although it displays in Settings > Sync as a local database. On the Macbook, the Mini shows up as a local network Bonjour location. The mini is using port 60920 with DEVONthink Server as TLS certificate.

DEVONthink will assign a port if none is specified. However, we recommend assigning one yourself.

Again, no syncing – Bonjour or otherwise – has anything to do with the web sharing in Server.

What is reported in Window > Log?

It took several iterationslasting overnights. I tried Verify & Repair (successful), File Integrity (successful), Optimize, and Rebuild (more than once). After the third try, all the processes completed and sync began. Now, sync is working on three devices and on DTTG. Port 60920 and DT TLS certificate.

60920 worked when I manually assigned it and created a DEVONthink TLS certificate.
