One of my PDF documents could not be processed through OCR. Unfortunately, I cannot share this document. Would this error message from the Console.log help you identify the problem? I resolved the issue by processing the document with PDFsqueezer without compression.

That‘s an internal error message of the Abbyy engine. Which PDF version does this document use?

The PDF producer is misleading. This just reflects one of the various attempts to make this parseable.

Did you try to print the document to a new PDF using Preview.app?

I think so. This was the only way, I could make it “work”. Sorry, with a newborn and less sleep some things get “blurry”. :man_shrugging:

That suggests something “odd” about the original, but with the “new” copy DEVONthink works as expected.
