uncheck "exclude from tagging" for an entire hiararchy

Hi,

How do i uncheck “exclude from tagging” for an entire hierarchy of indexed groups, including any new groups which i create and update? Thanks,

File > Database Properties … > [database name]

Checking Exclude from Tagging in the contextual menu for a given group will override the global setting for the database. Indexed groups are excluded from tagging by default.

I have “exclude from trigging” unchecked in the properties of the database. I seem to be able to uncheck exclude from tagging in context menu for indexed items that are selected, but items above or below the group hierarchy seem to remain unaffected?

Is there a way for index items not to be excluded by default?
