On a previous post I read that the best way to migrate from v2 to v4 is to move everything to v3 first and then to v4.
Does this mean I need to purchase both versions?

Actually, I can only purchase v4, so I am unclear about how to migrate to v4 via/through v3.
Someone from DEVONtechnologies should comment on this, but you can download the older versions here. Normally you should be able to run this software without a license for a limited period. That should allow you to migrate to v3 first.
