Updating Databases?

This could be a pretty stupid question, but before I purchase DevonThink, I want to make sure that there is a simple way to update the databases I use without importing them from scratch. I would primarily like to use DevonThink to perform Find by Content searches in specific (large) folders, and I would like DevonThink to easily update the database for each folder, after new files are added to that folder. Is there a way this can be done?

I’ve looked through the documentation and forum, and haven’t been able to find any obvious reference to this issue.

This is currently not possible - it’s only possible to add new contents using the folder action script. But a synchronize command will come in v1.8.
