will I be able to continue using DT3 on all my old machines once I upgrade to DT4?
Yes, but…
- They will still consume a seat, so if you have two Macs with two seats for version 3 and purchase a new Mac for version 4, you will need to purchase an additional seat.
- Version 3 is in maintenance and will not be developed and supported forever.
But then on the upgrade page it tells me I’d technically be trading my existing licenses and the old one will stop working after three months.
Where are you reading this? That is not the case when upgrading version 3 to 4.
