Using Alfred or Keyboard Maestro to trigger search -- is it possible?

I’m trying out DEVONsphere and would like to know if its possible to use Alfred or Keyboard Maestro to trigger a search.

No.
DEVONsphere has the ability to open with a hotkey.
Also, there is a DEVONsphere service the can be used with selected text.

Thank you. If I decide to purchase a license, I might request this feature in a future update.

+1 for URL or script / shortcut option

inevitably no search engine does everything I want.
DevonSphere finds some items others don’t

it would be very handy to add it into Alfred’s fallback search options (rather than repeating the same search)

hi @BLUEFROG does DEVONsphere support a URL scheme similar to Automation : URL Commands ala devonsphere://find?inp=invoice

Sorry but no.
There are two system services though…

Thanks for confirming @BLUEFROG.
Acknowledged re system services, but they do not help with easy integration into Alfred.

Please consider this is a potential feature request, it would be great to get one basic URL supported allowing to plug search term into DEVONsphere from any application like Alfred/KM/etc.

Noted but why not just invoke them via shortcut keys natively?

I would say muscle memory and standartization of all workflows by now (for me and probably many other users). Having shortcut for an app - is one more shortcut to remember …

Alfred can be considered frontend for everything what is automatable/scriptable … which is almost anything (+thanks to combination with Keyboard Maestro, which again can be triggered from Alfred e.g. via Conductor)
Personally I standartize on using Alfred across everything as it is very convenient to just
a) type alt + backspace for any time of search workflow (be in native Alfred, Keyboard Maestro scripts, Devonthink dbs search, Google search, Wikipedia search, you name it)
b) cmd x2 for custom actions on any files

These are 2 shortcuts I ever use / have to remember.
