Using Markdown for scientific writing

This is sort of “DEVONThink adjacent”, and I thought some DT users would be interested in this article in Nature on using markdown for scientific writing:

Interesting indeed - though RMarkdown is its own flavor. DEVONthink supports MultiMarkdown 6, so a heads up to any RMarkdown users perusing this thread.
