Using the ABBYY OCR engine outside DT

I have the Pro Office edition of DT think, and I was wondering if I can use the ABBYY OCR engine outside DT. I download a lot of PDFs that I need to OCR, and I don’t store my PDFs in DT. Currently I’m dragging the PDFs into DT, converting them to searchable PDFs, and then dragging them out of DT into some Finder folders I have. Is there a way to invoke the OCR capabilities outside DT (so I don’t have to go through the import-convert-export process)?

No. But perhaps it might be possible to semi-automate your workflow with scripting.
