If I’m in vertical split mode (my favourite) and I select a group on the left, it shows the contents on the right. If I double-click on something in the right panel, it opens it in a new window.
In general, I’d like to avoid the proliferation of windows. There’s a preference to make groups open in the same window, but not documents.
For the wishlist… I’d like an option which makes double-clicking on the right do the same as selecting on the left…

Yes this would be great.
It would also be nice if you could drag files out of the right hand window and put them in groups on the left in. Unless I am missing something, you can drag- copy a file this way by holding option (nice) but you can’t simply re-file a document into another group.
