Greetings, I can’t seem to find documentation on how to increase the font size or zoom-in on documents that open in the view/edit pane (widescreen view). I thought the “view text size” option in preferences>general>appearance would do the trick, but that only changes font size in the item list. Any suggestions appreciated.
Welcome @gmichel
There is no singular document in DEVONthink. What kind of document are you referring to?
Also, you can look at the View > Zoom menu.
When opening a .docx file in the view/edit pane I’d like to adjust the font. View>Zoom is grayed out for me–can’t select.
Microsoft documents are proprietary and displayed via Apple’s QuickLook mechanism. You could pinch to zoom in and out but the way Microsoft created their QuickLook generator, there is a mask which will crop the display.
You could try View > Document Display > Text Alternative to view the raw text as rich text. Then you could use the Zoom options in that view.
Thanks for this. I thought text alternative was avail on toolbar as well, tho not seeing.
You’re welcome
