View / modify file permissions (PDF) and/or open terminal here

Hi folks,

From time to time I use DEVONthink to combine multiple PDF pages into a single PDF. I’ve never had any issues with it.

Today I want to repeat that exercise, but I can’t seem to drag one pdf underneath the other. I usually do this in the side pane or inspector where I am viewing the file as thumbnails.

Is there a way to:

• add some sort of “open terminal window here” to be able to properly inspect rwx settings of a given file?
• even better, view and adjust the permissions in DEVONthink itself?
  Perhaps by means of a script?

Please watch my words, I am not reluctant to using the feature, but I am averse to spending time studying the case to understand the implications and furthermore, to figuring out how I change a hidden preference.
