Wallpaper Tinting is active under macOS 11.1 with option unchecked

I just upgraded to macOS 11.1 from from 10.15.1 and notice wallpaper tinting shows behind the sidebar. This is with the Allow Wallpaper Tinting in Windows option unchecked in System Preferences.

It’s certainly not a big deal, but a bug on some level nonetheless. I’m not seeing this behavior in any other apps.

Thank you for the hint, we’ll check this.

Can you post a screen capture of this? I’m not seeing it here in Big Sur on an M1 MacBook Air.

Here you go, Jim. I’m on a 15-inch, Mid 2018 MacBook Pro…

Go into System Preferences > Accessibility > Display and enable Reduce Transparency.

Go into System Preferences > Accessibility > Display and enable Reduce Transparency.

Perfect!! That did it…thank you!!

You’re very welcome.
