Web clipper icon disappeared from Safari

The web clipper icon disappeared from the Safari toolbar. Deactivating the extension in Preferences and then activate it again causes the icon to appear for a fraction of a second blinking 2 to 3 times and disappear.

iMac M1, macOS 12.5, DEVONthink 3.8.5.

Rebooting the computer and enabling the extension might work.
