The web server is potentially a great tool. But currently it requires being logged in and having DT active. It would be great if the web server could be active without being logged in. It is not clear to me why the GUI on the host machine has to be active to make the web server work.
The web server requires the AI database core to run and the database opened. At the moment, core and UI and web server are one piece. They could be separated but that is a lot of work that would, if we go that route, be worth a 3.0 release.
