Webarchive - Original webpage deleted

Hi there,

I captured a webarchive of a page that has since been deleted from the web. I know that webarchives may be dynamic, so I’m curious to know what will happen if I click this webarchive? Will it update, causing me to lose the page that I’ve stored in DTPro? If so, is there a way to lock the page, and prevent my losing the page? I guess I can disconnect my computer from the internet.

Curiously, what with the “lock” button do for a webarchive, or anything else that I’ve clipped?

That’s hard to tell as it depends on the actually clipped website. But you could indeed test this by disconnecting the computer.

Locking prevents only editing of documents and deleting of documents/groups.
