They did run tests, but as it seems, only DT and DTTG are affected, which may hint again at something little that DT may do different than other WebDAV clients.
And of course IONOS or Stratos don’t test Apps like DT or DTTG, that I can understand.

As soon as MS runs out a fix with detrimental impact on Apple ecosystem… well.
By the way: CyberDuck would not work via WebDAV, either.
I use MountainDuck and it had no problem.
IT IS FIXED !!!
At least for IONOS and DTTG.
And DT too!
It works again
Thanks for the diligence, spirited discussion, and confimation things are back up and running.
It is, until it’s not.
The static nature of a true backup protects it from whatever disaster caused the recovery to be necessary in the first place.
The immediate replication behavior of a sync operation can mean that the damage propagates to all copies at whatever your internet speed is.
Or, in a situation like this where the syncstore is inaccessible, so is the data it contains.
same here.
sync is working
For me, it seems that I get your point (I do) but you don’t get my point.
I try once more:
A synced copy get’s a perfectly usable backup from the point on that it is disconnected from the internet!
There is nothing strange in that and I used it multiple times already.
You don’t seem to like that or don’t want to accept that it is such a backup - until the moment, it is connected to the sync location again.
If you don’t get this point, I cannot help you.
Over and out.
Maybe better close my topic, @BLUEFROG ?
Don’t want to get bothered with further sync discussions and the topic is solved already,
Thanks!
