What happens when you "Put back" in trash?

So I deleted a document and emptied my trash in Devonthink but decided I want the document back. I went to system trash and did a silly thing by selecting “put back” in the context menu. My silliness didn’t end there. Finder opens the folder automatically when you put back the file, so I can tell it’s back in the database structure, but I closed it immediately. Now I cannot find the document through Devonthink and Finder search. Where do I go from here?

Step 1. Do a File > Verify & Repair Database. It will likely report an orphaned file.
Step 2. Repair the database and it will put the document in an Orphans group in the database.
Step 3. Stop doing silly things.
