When cleaning a sync location

when cleaning a sync location on the “main” laptop, what should you do with the other devices( another laptop and iPhone) delete DevonThink and reinstall them and input the same encryption key? or no need to uninstall and just enter the new encryption key?

  1. Disable their syncing then edit the sync location and enter the new encryption key.
  2. Do the clean on one device, e.g., the Mac, then sync it once the clean has been reported as successful, like in Window > Log.
  3. Enable syncing on the other devices.
