When I opened a DT3 database in DT4, the custom metadata didn’t show up

When I loaded the database I had been using in DT3 into DT4, I found that all the custom metadata was completely missing. That’s a crucial part of how I manage things… Fearing the worst, I nervously opened it in DT3 again, and thankfully, the custom metadata was still intact. I guess DT4 is still in beta—pretty scary stuff.

Only the setup wasn’t automatically migrated due to a bug, the custom metadata is still there. See DT4 - User-defined data fields DT3 -> DT4 - #2 by BLUEFROG
