Which AI system?

Hi everyone. I ask for some advice. I am an absolute beginner in the field of AI. I just upgraded to DEVONthink 4. Which AI system do you recommend me to use?

I am a scholar active in the humanities (History) and I have a huge amount of PDF accumulated over the years. I still don’t know how to take advantage of AI, but I would plan to use it mainly as a PDF analysis and things like that.

My university provides me with a ChatGPT Edu license but I only learned after upgrading Devonthink that that type of license does not provide for the release of the APIKey, so now I am free to privately buy any AI service I find most useful.

I know that this is a question that does not have unambiguous answers, but I would be grateful for any suggestion.

Did you use the search function in the forum? I remember several threads discussing the pros and cons of the various AI offers. Maybe these already answer your question or help you to ask a more specific one? As it stands, it looks a bit like “What book should I read” or “What car should I buy”.
