Why does the Icon or Thumbnail used for a group vary?

Why does the icon or thumbnail for a “New Group” vary.

When I create a “New Group” in my Global Inbox, the icon is a rectangular stack. This feels like the default and makes sense ot me.

However, when I create a “New Group” in my main database, the icon is a stack of tags. This, I don’t understand. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just an expected behavior?

I’m sure this makes sense to the DT ninjas on here. Please help a learner and thank you

Please post meaningful screenshots. I don’t see what you describe here.

You don’t have that other database set to Exclude Groups From Tagging in its File > Database Properties.
