window at startup?

Hello, I’ve installed XMenu on my iBook G3 600.
In addition to the menu in the toolbar at top (which is useful) I also get, whenever I start up from Shutdown, an open XMenu window on my desktop, containing the XMenu application, a ReadMe file, and 3 links to Devon.

This window is not a needful thing! It’s a nuisance, which I have to close each time before I can do anything else.
How do I get rid of it?!

You’re probably launching XMenu from the disk image while logging in. Just copy XMenu to the Applications folder and add this copy to the startup items.
