99.999% of the stuff in my databases are imported. However, I have one PDF that gets updated all the time, so I index it instead.
I noticed today that the word count for an indexed PDF seems to get stuck at whatever it was when first indexed. Updating the PDF on disk and going back to it in DTP shows the updated file, but the word count doesn’t change.
As a test, I tried this with an indexed RTF file, and the word count updated properly. So it looks like it’s just PDFs.
So this seems to be a bug. As a short term fix, is there an easy way to force DTP to “reindex” the file?
