WordService and Snow Leopard

I’d like to use WordService with TextEdit under Snow Leopard. I followed the install instructions, and I am not seeing the Services menu in TextEdit. Any one else have luck?

OK, I figured it out. I needed to activate the services items using the Keyboard System Preference.

So far so good!

I’m having the same problem, except with Mail (although it doesn’t work with either Safari or TextEdit).
I’ve activated what I want with KB prefs and signed out and in.
But none of the services are available from the app menus.
