WordService under Mavericks 10.9.* "unidentified developer"

Since Mavericks applications need to come from ‘identified developers’. This is what Apple says about what you can do as a workaround:

You can choose to override your security settings and open the app anyway.

In the Finder, locate the app you want to open. Most apps can be found in the Applications folder.
Press the Control-key, then click the app icon.
Choose Open from the shortcut menu.
Click Open.

Problem is, you can not do this with the WordService service. Is there another workaround or could you release an update to WordService?

One workaround is to change the security settings temporarily, launch WordService and revert the settings.

I went to Library>Services and right clicked on wordservice. Got the …from unidentified developer prompt. Clicked open. It works fine.
