Yet another thread about "Invalid file integrity, checksum is different' - how to fix?

This post is basically what the title says :grin:

Now that I’ve upgraded to DT4, one of my databases is reporting 35 checksum errors. All the files are imported, and while I haven’t checked all of them, they’re all relatively old files and the ones I have checked (5-6) are all fine and working.

  • “Verify and repair” is flagging no issues
  • “Update items” doesn’t fix the problem
  • The troubleshooting section of help seems to assume this error only occurs on indexed items, which isn’t the case here
  • Restarting DT4 doesn’t fix the issue

Any ideas what I can try next? Which hopefully avoids me having to manually do something with all 35 items?

The only options are to either reimport the files or to rebuild the database.
