Hi, so I’ve recently encountered a new problem. I’ve been using DevonThink extensively for months without anything resembling this ever happening. But, I will start DevonThink and then close my laptop eventually and go do something else, and when I return and open the laptop, DevonThink is no longer open. I have not selected to quit the program or anything like that. Any thoughts on possible causes or solutions? Thanks.
Please include pertinent information when asking such questions, e.g., what version of DEVONthink and operating system you’re running.
Have you disabled SIP on the machine for some reason?
Wow, thank you! I had no idea what an SIP even was, but it is in fact disabled. That’s a serious problem and I never would have noted it otherwise, so thank you very, very much!
