So I just received an email from Dropbox saying that it won’t be able to support “online-only files” on macOS 12.3 until March 2022.
Will this impact syncing apps like DEVONthink?
It’s impossible to tell until it’s actually in place but the effect should be minimal, if at all. The only concern I would have is just our sync dealing with transactional .manifest files but @cgrunenberg would have to chime in on this.
The Dropbox API used by DEVONthink is not related to the Dropbox client and its integration into the filesystem.
