I forgot how to make a metadata field reveal like a placeholder (this is for a batch process)

Welp, I ran amok :grinning:.

Christian’s image shown here is very close to what I want to do: simply copy the item name for a selection of items into the Aliases field for each selected item (as a batch process).

Double brackets didn’t work. Any ideas?

Why would you use double brackets? :thinking:

Placeholders are found in the contextual menu > Insert Placeholder.

Well, I was spitballing because I forgot how to do it. Probably had something to do with the one and only time I played around with the wiki-linking feature (and, mind you, I was basing this all from memory trying THAT many years ago).
