Importing Firefox bookmarks does not work

In trying to import my 2k bookmarks from Firefox, I have no success.

After going to menu File > Import > Bookmarks > Firefox, nothing happens.

I had success by importing the Firefox bookmarks into Safari, and then importing from Safari into DT. But as I keep adding bookmarks to Firefox, I’d like to avoid using Safari.

Preserving dates?

Also: How can I preserve dates while importing bookmarks? All the imported bookmarks have a date stamp of today, so the date infos are lost upon import. Is it possible to keep them?

The solution below (from Jim) worked. Only the dates were not preserved.

Firefox bookmarks do not appear

This is an issue with how Firefox stores its bookmarks. But there is a setting that will export Bookmarks to an HTML file when Firefox quits. In Firefox, type about:config in the address bar. Click the button to accept the risk. Search for Bookmark Double-click the line that reads Browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML. The value should be set to True. Quit Firefox. (I actually suggest relaunching and quitting it again, just to make sure.) Attempt the import of Bookmarks into DEVONthink.

Only the dates were not preserved.

Only groups, name & URL are currently supported

For anyone also having this issue. I had to restart Firefox twice and restart DT to get this to work, but it did!
