I didn’t know that was there! I didn’t realize there was a Markdown viewer you can keep open all the time as it were until I looked. That is a huge deal for me.
For what it is worth, Agenda (the App) has done the exact thing to my markdown icons in DevonThink. Ugh!
Yes, it’s quite obnoxious when applications decide they’re the default application for a filetype. This should always be an opt-in choice ![]()
Hello, I experienced the same problem, it was Ulysses doing this to me. I sort of fix the issue by changing the default markdown app to TextEdit. Although by doing so, I cannot use the thumberview of markdown, but I at least return to a more neutral icon look.
