When I merge 3 PDF documents, they are merged in reverse order, i.e. date and time created or selection order.
How do I combine/merge documents in the order they were created?
Only the order of the selection matters.

Adding to @cgrunenberg’s suggestion, View > Sort > by Date Created and ascending or descending, then make your selection to merge.
You can also use Sort > Unsorted and manually order the files. They will merge top to bottom.
