Thanks for the “Show only documents” option in the latest beta. To make things really work as before, two other (minor) changes are needed.
Make the folders in the Favourites section of the sidebar expandable, the way they are in the Globals and Open Databases sections.
Make it possible to manually reorder items in expandable folders, as it is possible to do now in Favourites.
These would make it much easier to navigate nested folders than currently. Thanks again.

You already can rearrange groups in the Navigate sidebar. Control-click a database in Open Databases and choose Sort > Unsorted from the contextual menu. You can then drag and drop to reorder the groups manually.
Note: The Unsorted value applies to all open databases in the Navigate sidebar.
This is actually planned for upcoming releases.

Excellent. One other suggestion, while we’re on it: it would be nice if the same keyboard command (right arrow) for opening folders in the list view also applied to the sidebar.
Yes, thanks for implementing the “Show only documents” option! Now, just waiting on the ability to select multiple groups in the sidebar as mentioned here:
Once that is implemented, all will be right in my DT world

this is not a real replacement as you can’t navigate and expand folders in sidebar with keyboard … why o why is 3 pane view gone … for me, dt is now only a blown up finder with a large preview pane …
