Regular automated archiving of emails

I’d like to have my emails archive automatically on a regular basis.

is there a script or any way to achieve that?

There is no built-in function for that.
You can try using Apple Mail rules as we have provided a few Mail rule scripts in the default install.

Hi @BLUEFROG, any updates on this? I’m looking for a specific email account in Apple Mail to be ‘archived’ nightly, so when I wake up, the latest messages are ready to search.

I use the Apple Mail Import (Archive Mailbox) feature of DT4, manually from time to time; I just want to automate that part. It’s exactly 5 mouse clicks inside DT4. Something like a Keyboard Maestro macro won’t work here since the system is locked overnight.

No change. Apple Mail rules are still the only option for automatic archiving of emails.
