Thank you so much @cgrunenberg this is super helpful and is exactly what I needed. I also see in that same settings pane there’s now an option to record a hotkey to trigger the script, this functionality alone is so important for me and I can’t be more grateful that it has been added. Thanks for getting me pointed in the right direction.
In Settings > Files > Email? These hotkeys trigger the built-in import of messages/mailboxes. But the scripts of the menu extra aren’t used.
Ah, even better as I think this means I can remove the global script menu – I only had this visible to access the DT mail scripts and even then generally only used it to import individual messages. Either way, I’m still very happy and definitely hadn’t noticed this before.
