See also across databases

I’ve just spent time splitting up my main database into about 6 smaller ones. I seem to have run into a difficulty: now the “see also” only works for the current database. I would have thought that it would work for all open databases.
The search works across databases. Am I wrong in thinking that the “see also” does not?

It’s currently limited to single databases but will be improved in the future.
